Taste of the Valley:
Ballintotas Alpacas is pleased to showcase a range of products that can be created from alpaca fibre. Visit us at the Spring show, Cobden Fairgrounds, to see locally grown and produced products. Enjoy a great opportunity to feel raw alpaca fibre and see the transition from fibre to rovings - to yarn - to product.

Navan Fair:
Again this year, the Navan Fair will be hosting the Alpaca Composite Show and the Alpaca Fleece Show. Fleeces will be judged in advance of the composite show. In a composite show, the fleece
and animal are judged separately and the scores are combined to rank the animals. Come and feel the prize winning alpaca fleece and listen to the commentary of the ring judge. For more information, log on to www.navanfairalpacashow.ca .

Deep River Arts and Crafts Fair – November 5th and 6th, 2011
Organized by the Rotary Club of North Renfrew, and hosted by Mackenzie High School, this fair showcases country crafters, as well as community and home based businesses, filling two gymnasiums. This show represents one of the season’s first opportunities to start your Christmas shopping!

Alpaca Ontario Show
Orangeville, Ontario. This annual show features two days of alpaca sights and sounds. Not only is this an opportunity for farms across Ontario to showcase the results of their breeding program, it also features vendors, ‘Alpaca 101’ educational seminars for the public, fibre displays and demonstrations.
